Key Responsibilities:
  • Install drywall sheets, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening to studs or joists.
  • Tape joints using a taping machine, embedding tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth surface.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for finishing, including cutting openings for electrical outlets and heating/ventilation piping.
  • Utilize laser alignment systems to ensure accurate installation.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
