About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team at Lovely Renovation Toronto. As a carpenter and renovation specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including preparing estimates, reading blueprints, and installing windows and doors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare estimates of labour and material costs
  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Prepare tenders and quotations
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Willing to travel
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
