About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Protech Refrigeration & HVAC Ltd. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
