About GB PAINTING LTD.

We are a leading provider of painting services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Work Environment:

As a Bookkeeping Specialist at GB PAINTING LTD., you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
