At Plains Midstream Canada ULC, we are seeking a highly skilled Measurement and Quality Specialist to join our Operations department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our Measurement Technicians and Operations team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our measurement systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing field measurement standardization programs to meet PMC standards and Plains OMS requirements.
  • Assisting in performing Measurement Assessments to reduce loss/gain percentages outside tolerances.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of daily, weekly, monthly system receipts, throughput, delivery, and inventory volumetrics.
  • Supporting activities for field operations, IT system initiatives, and other related tasks.

Requirements:

  • Technical diploma or 2-5 years of experience in a related Trade or Operations position.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hydrocarbon processing or the pipeline industry.
  • Understanding of AER, API, and Measurement Canada regulations regarding measurement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and analyze problems.
  • Excellent communication and team focus skills.
