Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities to foster business growth.
- Participate in industry conferences and events to build and sustain customer relationships, generating additional business prospects and partnerships.
- Assess client needs and develop a comprehensive sales pipeline to meet established targets.
- Work in tandem with the marketing team to synchronize strategies and connect potential clients with relevant marketing resources.
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing initiatives.
- Conduct competitive analysis to enhance market presence.
- Stay informed on industry trends and customer motivations, regularly meeting with management and stakeholders to refine strategies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development capacity, ideally within an agency setting.
- Demonstrated success in leading a team effectively.
- Proven expertise in B2B sales and negotiation.
- Experience in selling technology and design services.
- Exceptional public speaking abilities, comfortable presenting to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with institutional clients.
- Proficient in using Hubspot, Salesforce, or similar platforms to manage sales pipelines and prioritize leads.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes.
- Skilled in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Experience in selling to the US market.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with public sector and non-profit clients.
- Technical curiosity and a quick learner of new systems and processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
