We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements and producing key business artifacts using best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Business Requirements Gathering: Support the project team and stakeholders across multiple departments to gather business requirements and produce key business artifacts using best practices.
- Project Analysis: Participate in the project analysis phase by gathering, documenting, and managing user needs and requirements as they relate to the deployment of various project phases.
- Design and Development: Ensure consistency and continuity by participating and contributing to the detailed design phase.
- Analysis and Elicitation: Provide analysis by undertaking information gathering and analysis and by eliciting the details of user requirements in discussion with internal and external users.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with key stakeholders across ITS, external stakeholders to support the execution of specific engagement strategies and plans.
- Impact Assessment: Assess the impact of the proposed business requirements on the systems and collaborate with technical specialists to propose solutions.
- Process Improvement: Develop and improve business processes within the technology and business departments.
- Communication and Training: Prepare and deliver presentations and status reports to project team and stakeholders, and facilitate presentations and provide training to end users, as required.
- Transition and Testing: Support the transition of the solution to operations using a hybrid project delivery methodology, and participate in functional and user experience testing with the project stakeholders.
- Education: University degree or college diploma in information technology, project management, business analysis, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of recent related experience.
- Communication and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to communicate to all levels of an organization, using clear and compelling written products and oral presentations/briefings, and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve objectives.
- Certifications: International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) designation.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in participating/contributing to RFP processes, and demonstrated experience with Operational Risk Management concepts, principles, policies, appetite, frameworks, models, and practices.
