Senior Mechanical Project Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Mechanical Project Associate to join our Restoration team at Edison Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical restoration of existing buildings, ensuring that our clients' projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct site reviews and assessments to identify restoration needs
- Prepare and review restoration reports, including detailed specifications and drawings
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and drawings
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and senior engineers to ensure project success
- Monitor project progress, tracking quantities and budgets
- Prepare Payment Certificates and monitor project finances
- Conduct condition assessments, preliminary reviews, and field review services for various building systems
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication and service excellence
- 3+ years of experience in building science and mechanical engineering
- Experience with residential building systems, including townhouse, midrise, and highrise buildings
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in building system installation and repair
- Practical understanding of construction processes and building system failure mechanisms
- Extensive knowledge of building mechanical engineering requirements, including Ontario Building Code (OBC), CSA, ASHRAE, ASPE, NFPA, SMACNA, and AREMA
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software
