Your Responsibilities:

During the Franchise Development Program, candidates will complete all training modules, assigned projects, and in-store experiences while collaborating with leaders and their teams. You will engage in formal mentorship and receive extensive training across various regions, shadowing current franchisees and interacting with customers to develop essential leadership and entrepreneurial skills, including:

  • Store Management: Prepare financial reports, monitor sales performance, implement strategies to enhance sales and profitability, and manage inventory levels based on sales trends. Oversee the store budget, control costs, and ensure effective product displays while staying informed about industry trends.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise store staff to deliver outstanding customer service. Create employee schedules, provide coaching and performance feedback, and manage disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Administration: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and expenses, preparing reports for senior management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections.
  • Community Engagement: Represent the store in the local community, coordinating and participating in community events and initiatives while building relationships with local organizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a retail environment, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Ability to coach and lead teams, adapting leadership styles to meet diverse team needs.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to community engagement through active participation in local initiatives.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Willingness to travel for training purposes.
  • Willingness to relocate for management opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience analyzing sales reports and customer feedback to enhance business performance.
  • Background in visual merchandising.
  • Familiarity with people management and scheduling platforms.
