Electromechanical Technician

Oshawa PUC Energy Services is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the building and testing of prototypes, assisting in design and development, and preparing estimates and reports.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the building and testing of prototypes
- Assist in design and development of electromechanical systems
- Prepare estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports
- Write specifications for electromechanical equipment and systems
- Assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components
- Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments
- Conduct safety training programs
- Install, commission, and operate electrical and electronic equipment and systems
- Set up and operate test equipment to diagnose and test electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
- 1 year of experience in electromechanical systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. They will be required to work under pressure and have excellent attention to detail.
