Senior Software Development Engineer, Commerce Integration Services, Digital Acceleration

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of our commerce integration services team, you will play a critical role in building and running mission-critical commerce systems that enable Amazon businesses to serve customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects involving multiple teams in all aspects of the software development life cycle using an agile process.
- Design and develop scalable and reusable technical solutions to complex business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of systems.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including technical and non-technical teams, to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and progress.
Amazon Digital Acceleration powers ordering, subscriptions, and device management for Prime, Amazon Video, Music, Audible, Alexa, and Kindle, amongst other digital businesses. We process billions of digital purchases every year and enable our digital businesses to grow their businesses worldwide.
Requirements- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
