Vandenberg Feeders Ltd. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Labourer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for an individual who is willing to learn and take on various tasks related to farm work, including animal care, equipment operation, and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Feed and tend to animals, ensuring their health and well-being
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, performing routine checks and repairs
  • Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Perform general farm duties, including tasks such as cleaning and maintaining equipment
  • Maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings, ensuring they are in good working condition
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience working in a rural area, with staff accommodation available
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Initiative and judgement to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime
