Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Manage the company's transportation budget and ensure that all expenses are in line with our financial goals.
  • Shipping and Tracking: Arrange for shipping documentation and track the movement of goods in transit to ensure timely delivery.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate with service providers to secure preferential rates and services.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, as well as the setting of transportation service rates and monitoring of revenue.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that goods are available when needed.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Compile statistics and reports to inform business decisions and improve operations.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of logistics professionals to ensure that our operations run smoothly.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
