Position Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor at Nova Liquor Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our retail environment. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within a retail setting.
Work Environment

This role is situated in a fast-paced retail business, requiring the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delegate tasks to sales associates effectively.
  • Manage inventory levels and place orders for merchandise.
  • Authorize merchandise returns as necessary.
  • Create and maintain work schedules for staff.
  • Engage in direct sales and assist customers with their purchases.
  • Compile reports regarding sales performance, inventory management, and staffing issues.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members.
Supervisory Role

This position involves overseeing a team of approximately 3-4 individuals.

Safety and Security

A basic security clearance is required to ensure a safe shopping environment.
