Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at KF Aerospace. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing line and heavy maintenance on aircraft, including the installation, inspection, testing, adjusting, and repair of avionics equipment and associated wiring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform line and heavy maintenance on aircraft, including the installation, inspection, testing, adjusting, and repair of avionics equipment and associated wiring.
  • Complete basic inspection tasks, including the inspection of EWIS in accordance with Service Bulletins, AD's, and Aircraft.
  • Install aircraft assemblies and systems following documentation such as Service Bulletins, Engineering Orders, STC data packages, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Wiring Diagrams, and Standard Wiring Practices Manual.
  • Perform post-modification testing and troubleshooting to ensure modification functions as intended while ensuring no adverse effects to existing aircraft systems.
  • Carry out EMI/EMC testing in accordance with appropriate documentation such as an STC data package.
  • Complete general installation, testing, adjustment, and repair, including the installation or replacement of electronic/electrical equipment, components, fixtures, wiring, or systems.
  • Sign off on own work and the work of others where endorsed/qualified.
  • Safely operate all ground equipment.
  • Coordinate work with engineers, technicians, and other aircraft maintenance personnel.
  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of own work and fix mistakes where required.
  • Carry out installations with minimal rework.
Requirements:
  • AME-E Transport Canada licence (preferred).
  • Minimum 3+ years experience working as Avionics AME.
  • Radio Operator Licence.
  • May be required to obtain Ground Operating Licence (AVOP's).
