Design Engineer

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team in Kincardine, Ontario. As a Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and development of our power generation facilities, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop new equipment and systems to improve the efficiency and reliability of our power generation facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize design projects and ensure timely completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed design specifications, drawings, and documentation.
- Conduct site visits to inspect and evaluate equipment and systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to operations and maintenance teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in the power generation industry.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects.
