Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Tapestery Collection By Hilton. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain hotel rooms, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests.
  • Stock linen closets and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Provide basic information on hotel facilities and amenities to guests.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers, and clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
