Job Title: Welder Helper

SKYLINE WELDING & FABRICATION LTD. is seeking a skilled Welder Helper to join our team. As a Welder Helper, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced welders in the fabrication and cleaning of metal products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to ensure thorough cleaning.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Load and unload vehicles to transport metal products and equipment.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish to meet quality standards.
  • Read and interpret work orders to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • Will train on the job.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
