Position Overview

The Chemical Cleaning Project Planner will serve as the primary liaison for CEDA's clients in the Chemical Cleaning sector. This role entails leading the development of strategic plans and cost estimates for Chemical Cleaning initiatives. Upon project award, the Planner will ensure successful project execution and provide technical support to field operations. Additionally, this position is accountable for aligning project completion with initial cost projections.

This role is suited for individuals with a background in Chemical Cleaning within the industrial services and maintenance sectors of the oil and gas industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Generate cost estimates for projects in accordance with client specifications and contractual agreements
  • Occasionally assume project management duties, overseeing site operations and supervising personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
  • Ensure work performance aligns with project schedules, quality standards, budget constraints, and safety objectives, effectively communicating these goals with relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain a safe and environmentally compliant project worksite in line with CEDA's policies and procedures
  • Prepare equipment layouts, hookup requirements, and work lists for setup, processing, rig-down, and decontamination, providing these to dispatch in advance
  • Foster positive client relationships through safe work practices and measurable performance indicators
  • Monitor client feedback and implement corrective actions, utilizing insights to enhance quality systems and meet client expectations
  • Represent CEDA on client sites, leveraging your Chemical Cleaning expertise to engage effectively with clients and promote CEDA's services
  • Collaborate with laboratory services and blend plant to coordinate necessary chemistry for project completion
  • Familiarize yourself with client agreements to ensure accurate obligation management, using these agreements to inform your estimates
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Chemical Cleaning within industrial services/maintenance
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Possession of a Class 5 driver's license is mandatory
  • Class 1 or 3 driver's license is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Visio is beneficial
