As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating electronic cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Accurately process customer transactions, handle cash and operate electronic cash registers.
  • Replenish merchandise around the checkout area, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed, and loss prevention best practices are implemented.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures related to the sale of tobacco and lottery products.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule:

A typical part-time schedule will consist of a mix of days, evenings, and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly. A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 30-35 hours weekly.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include standing and walking for extended periods, bending, twisting, and squatting, lifting and moving up to 18 kg (40 lbs.), and performing tasks involving firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.
