Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tile Installation Specialist to join our team at Doctor Countertop Ltd. This role involves a variety of tasks related to the installation of tiles in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Measure, mark, and prepare surfaces to ensure optimal tile placement.
  • Adhesive Application: Mix and apply various adhesives, including mortar and cement, using hand tools.
  • Tile Setting: Position tiles accurately and apply pressure to secure them firmly.
  • Alignment: Ensure tiles are aligned and straight for a professional finish.
  • Cutting and Fitting: Use hand and power tools to cut tiles around obstacles and openings.
  • Grouting: Fill joints between tiles with grout and remove any excess material.
  • Repair Work: Replace cracked or damaged tiles as needed.
  • Installation of Tile Strips: Execute the installation of tile strips as required.
Work Environment

This position is physically demanding and requires bending, crouching, and kneeling. The role involves travel to various job sites.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree or certification is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in tile installation is preferred.
