Job Title: Tile Installer

Doctor Countertop Ltd is seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team. As a Tile Installer, you will be responsible for installing tile surfaces in various settings, including residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring and marking areas to be covered.
  • Mix and apply adhesives, such as mortar and cement, to secure tiles in place.
  • Set tiles in position and apply pressure to ensure a secure fit.
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Install tile strips to complete the installation.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • This role is physically demanding and requires frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Workplace Information:
  • This is an on-the-road job, requiring travel to various locations.
