Laboratory Animal Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Animal Care Worker to join our team at Queen's University.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor animal behavior and ensure the health and well-being of laboratory animals.
- Prepare and serve food and feed animals according to established protocols.
- Clean and disinfect animal enclosures, equipment, and facilities to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Record and maintain accurate records of animal treatments and health status.
- Maintain and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient animal care.
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as animal science or veterinary technology.
- Experience working with laboratory animals, animal training, and animal health.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
