Job Summary
BA Blacktop Ltd. is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Project Manager. As a key member of our Operations Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining a high level of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the Operations Team.
- Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Coordinators, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project momentum.
- Manage project resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to optimize project efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status, progress, and any issues or concerns.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, including planning, execution, and control.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in project management software.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Registration as a PMP or P. Eng. is an asset.
