**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our Retrofit team at Compass Energy Systems Ltd. As a Laborer, you will play a critical role in supporting our tradesmen and contributing to the success of our operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Follow written and oral instructions from the Foreman/Lead Hand to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
  • Clean, organize, and sweep the work area and yard as required to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Assist tradesmen as needed to support the completion of tasks and projects.
  • Remove and install pressure vessels and process piping, and move parts and materials in a safe and competent manner.
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting or threading, and operate equipment in a safe and competent manner.
  • Use basic hand tools and power tools to perform tasks and projects.
  • Assist in other areas of the shop as required and assigned by the Branch Coordinator.
  • Participate in the Compass Safety Program, including accident investigations and worksite inspections.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and observe health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Strongly promote the Compass Brand Promise and contribute to a positive company culture.
  • Travel to field locations as required to support cross-functional work duties.

**Requirements**

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to safe work procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
  • Good driving habits and a clean Driver's Abstract.
  • Team player with attention to detail and a willingness to take on additional tasks and duties as needed.
