Retrofit Laborer

At Compass Energy Systems Ltd, we're committed to excellence in manufacturing, retrofitting, and servicing compression and process packaging equipment for the North American natural gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions from the Foreman/Lead Hand to ensure efficient workflow
• Contribute to a safe working environment by cleaning, organizing, and sweeping the work area and yard as required
• Assist tradesmen with tasks as needed
• Remove and install pressure vessels and process piping with precision
• Move parts and materials safely and efficiently
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting or threading
• Operate equipment with care and attention to safety protocols
• Utilize basic hand tools and power tools to complete tasks
• Support other areas of the shop as required and assigned by the Branch Coordinator
• Participate in Compass Energy Systems Ltd's Safety Program, including accident investigations and worksite inspections
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times
• Embody the Compass Energy Systems Ltd Brand Promise
• Travel to field locations for cross-functional work duties as required

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to safe work procedures
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs regularly
• Good driving habits and a clean Driver's Abstract
• Team player with attention to detail
