About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Steeves and Rozema Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality care to our residents and make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense medication and perform treatment procedures, such as dressing changes
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Supervise and direct on-floor team members as needed
  • Participate in ongoing assessments of resident care needs and monitor their condition
  • Follow established duties and job routines outlined in our policies and procedures
  • Support the principles of Continuous Quality Improvement
Requirements
  • Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses
  • Proof of medication administration education/competency
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Demonstrated ability to participate and function in a team environment
  • Understanding of and commitment to resident-centered care
