Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Finance Operations, the Head of Procurement Strategy will spearhead the development and execution of our procurement initiatives. We view procurement as a multifaceted function that balances employee satisfaction, cost efficiency, and vendor relations. We seek a visionary leader who can meet financial targets while enhancing the experiences of our team members through streamlined, user-friendly processes. Additionally, this role will facilitate productive partnerships with our vendors to achieve mutual objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive procurement support and oversee the implementation of new procurement policies.
  • Lead and mentor procurement staff, equipping them with the necessary tools for success and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Over 10 years of experience in procurement and vendor management, preferably within a SaaS or technology-focused environment, including 2-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in software rationalization and the formulation of long-term procurement strategies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a proven track record in managing contracts and vendor performance accurately.
  • Experience in establishing procurement workflows and best practices, particularly in technology procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and collaboration skills to foster consensus and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
