Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical and functional assessments for diverse clients, including those with physical injuries and mental health conditions.
- Design and implement evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation strategies.
- Regularly reassess and adjust programs to meet client needs.
- Perform home evaluations to identify necessary equipment and support services.
- Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team to optimize client management.
- Facilitate smooth return-to-work processes for clients, coordinating with all relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain a clinical caseload and ensure accurate documentation of client interactions.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports as required.
Qualifications:
- Active membership with COTBC.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Completion of relevant post-graduate courses in Occupational Therapy.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required (exemptions may apply).
Preferred Experience:
- A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, particularly with mental health and neurological conditions.
- Experience in return-to-work initiatives and interdisciplinary care.
- Background in community-based practice.
- Familiarity with chronic pain management and concussion treatment.
