Position Overview

Sympro CNC Machining & Mfg. Inc. is seeking a dedicated Machinist to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 to 44 hours per week. The ideal candidate will possess a secondary school graduation certificate and have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and components.
  • Set up and fine-tune production machinery and tools.
  • Assemble and fit components to precise tolerances.
  • Calibrate and maintain precision measuring instruments.
  • Document and report any deviations from established specifications.
  • Verify the dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring tools.
  • Operate both conventional and CNC machine tools.
  • Ensure product dimensions meet accuracy and specifications.
Tools and Equipment

Familiarity with the following measuring tools and machinery is essential:

  • Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges, Verniers
  • Drill presses, Milling machines, Surface grinders, CNC machines
  • Specialized processes such as laser beam and water jet machining
Work Environment

The position requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
