Job Title: ILS Specialist II

Seaspan is seeking a highly skilled ILS Specialist II to join our team in Vancouver, Canada. As an ILS Specialist II, you will play a critical role in supporting the Logistic Support Analysis function for our new major vessel build programs under the National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Logistics Support Analysis, including Reliability & Availability, Maintainability, Failure Modes Analysis, and Level of Repair Analysis.
  • Determine the required spares, consumables, support & test equipment, and other resources needed to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Develop maintenance plans and optimize resource utilization.
  • Review vendor documentation and participate in meetings and forums as needed.
  • Control and achieve the desired quality for all deliverables and communication.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent applicable experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of ILS experience, supplemented by other engineering-related experience.
  • Experience working in shipbuilding, defense, aviation, or rail is highly desirable.
  • P. Eng is desirable.
