As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our production team by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with insurance companies and other industry service providers to offer competitive conditions for our national residential insurance program.
Your Day as a Marketing Specialist- Market residential insurance products (Strata/Condos) by developing and maintaining excellent relationships with insurance companies to ensure the negotiation of the best competitive conditions for clients.
- Work with new and existing insurance companies to negotiate rates and franchises.
- Have a strong subscription capacity using internal contracts for the Strata/Condo program.
- Ensure liaison with client managers to discuss client needs and make recommendations on terms and conditions obtained.
- Have the opportunity to participate in the development of an innovative marketing process for major portfolio renewals.
- Stay up-to-date on new products, coverage, and market trends by attending seminars and reading relevant documents.
- Attend insurance and industry meetings as needed.
- Follow BFL Canada's policies and procedures, including security and quality procedures, as they are currently defined and as they may be modified from time to time.
- Perform other diverse tasks and participate in special projects as needed.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the industry.
- University degree or professional title in insurance (CIP, CAIB, CRM) preferably (or relevant professional experience).
- Insurance company license preferably or at least individual insurance license.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
