We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Solutions Developer who will take charge of designing, developing, and sustaining intricate Salesforce solutions that align with the organization's operational workflows. This role demands profound expertise in Salesforce development, customization, and integration, alongside the capability to guide and mentor a team of developers. Your contributions will be pivotal in utilizing Salesforce to enhance the company's performance, necessitating advanced skills and the ability to support and develop junior team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Salesforce Development: Design, develop, test, and implement high-quality Salesforce solutions, encompassing custom applications, configurations, and enhancements.
  • Customization: Engage in tailoring Salesforce applications to fulfill specific business requirements, including the creation of custom objects, fields, workflow rules, and validation rules.
  • Integration: Connect Salesforce with other systems and applications, whether on-premises or cloud-based, utilizing technologies such as REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Data Management: Oversee data import, export, and migration activities, ensuring data quality and integrity within Salesforce.
  • Security and Access Control: Establish and uphold robust security measures and access controls to safeguard sensitive information and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Code Optimization: Develop efficient, well-structured, and maintainable Apex code, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components to enhance system performance.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges, offering solutions to user issues and system errors.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for all Salesforce customizations, processes, and integrations.
  • Best Practices: Stay updated on Salesforce best practices and new features, recommending their implementation to improve system efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the junior Salesforce development team, providing technical direction and fostering a collaborative and productive team atmosphere.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within time and budget constraints.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute testing plans, conduct code reviews, and ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce solutions.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Salesforce certifications, such as Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I and II, are highly advantageous.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer with successful project implementations in a comparable organization.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and SOQL.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration techniques and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOX).
  • Ability to communicate daily with internal and external stakeholders outside Quebec or English-speaking only.
