About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Salesforce-based solutions to support our business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, configurations, and enhancements.
  • Customization and Integration: Customize Salesforce applications to meet specific business requirements, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules. Integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications, both on premises and cloud-based, using technologies like REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Data Management and Security: Manage data import, export, and migration tasks, ensuring data quality and integrity within Salesforce. Implement and maintain robust security and access controls to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Code Optimization and Problem Solving: Write efficient, well-structured, and maintainable Apex code, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components to maximize system performance. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and provide solutions to address user problems and system errors.
  • Documentation and Team Leadership: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all Salesforce customizations, processes, and integrations. Lead and mentor junior Salesforce developers, provide technical guidance, and foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Project Management and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. Develop and execute test plans, perform code reviews, and ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce solutions.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II, are highly desirable.
  • Experience and Skills: 10+ years of proven experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer with a track record of successful project implementations in a similar-sized company. Proficiency in Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and SOQL. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOX).
