Dexterra Group is seeking a skilled Field Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the Camps and fleet equipment are in top condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain HNCC camp equipment to the highest possible condition
  • Liaise with the Fleet Dispatcher to keep up to date on maintenance issues and certifications
  • Installation/repairing/replacing of fixtures and appliances
  • Use of hand and power tools required to perform tasks specific to trade
  • Daily usage of torches, crimpers, drills, hand tools, and other equipment
  • Load and unload materials, and move materials to work areas
  • Responsible for "curb appeal" of our facility including highway signage
  • Cleanliness and housekeeping of all areas inside and outside the camp
  • Ensure all camp equipment is in good repair
  • Effectively manage time and meet all necessary deadlines
Requirements
  • Valid drivers License
  • Work requires an education background normally equivalent to high school and a Journeyman Certificate - such as Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC or Carpentry
  • Knowledge of applicable industry and company codes, standards, regulations, and procedures
  • Able to operate all hand and power tools required to perform tasks specific to trade
  • Able to demonstrate organizational, time-management and decision-making skills
  • Able to manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines
