Job Title: Manager, IELTS and Professional Learning

About the Role:

Humber College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the IELTS Test Centre and Continuing Professional Learning (CPL) department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of IELTS testing and CPL programs at Humber College.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IELTS Test Centre, including test-day administration, staff management, and quality assurance.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote IELTS and CPL programs at Humber College.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Dean, CPL, to develop a marketing and business development plan for each fiscal year.
  • Support the overall operations of the CPL department, including process development and proposal writing.
  • Work Saturdays and Sundays as required by the testing schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Education, Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • TESL Ontario certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of combined managerial experience in adult education, test administration, or language centre management.
  • 5 years ESL teaching experience.
  • 2-3 years experience working as an IELTS Examiner or managing an IELTS Test Centre, Language Centre, or Continuing Education unit.
