About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gameplay Experience Specialist to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our playtesting team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and polish of our games.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and production, to develop and maintain survey and data collection tools.
  • Partner with Quality Design, Analytics, and Design to gather, analyze, and deliver qualitative feedback to the development team.
  • Use your expertise to identify common themes in feedback, diagnose quality issues, and help prioritize iteration for the development team.
  • Author reports and present findings to development leadership.
  • Liaise directly with development leaders to evaluate feedback and ensure it is being actioned.
  • Monitor feedback channels and ensure the playtest team is providing appropriate levels of data and detail.
  • Be an expert in the product, providing answers to questions from the Playtest Team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying playtest-related bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implementing identified improvements.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of playtesting experience, or game development experience.
  • Experience in creating reports for different audiences, both internally and externally.
  • Experience working with and managing teams.
  • Experience navigating and coordinating across a variety of teams.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools.
  • A passion for video games, particularly the FPS genre.
