Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience Designer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing digital content creation tools for internal teams of artists and designers, as well as designing new player-facing customization experiences for EA SPORTS titles.

You will work closely with artists, designers, engineers, and producers to solicit feedback, iterate on designs, and improve the experience. You will also distill user research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder feedback into design goals.

Additionally, you will work with and contribute to existing design systems, and have the opportunity to present and communicate designs effectively to stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in a UX role designing and shipping products
  • Experience designing for multiple platforms: web, mobile, and game console
  • Experience building prototypes to validate flows, interactions, and interfaces
  • Experience working in a highly technical environment
  • An understanding of 2D and 3D content creation tools and how they are used for game development
  • Ability to present and communicate designs effectively to stakeholders
  • Proficient with Figma
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with a game engine such as Frostbite, Unreal, or Unity
  • Experience with 3D software such as Maya
  • Experience with front-end development technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and Storybook
  • Solid visual design skills
  • Passion for sports and games
