Position Overview

As a Crop Harvesting Specialist at SANTAN ESTATES (NIAGARA) INC, you will play a vital role in our agricultural operations. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and efficiency in the harvesting process.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize fertilizers effectively to enhance crop yield
  • Employ hoeing techniques between rows for optimal growth
  • Remove debris such as wood and stones from fields
  • Harvest various agricultural crops by hand
  • Gather seedlings for planting
  • Package fruits and vegetables for distribution
  • Sort and grade harvested produce
  • Maintain daily progress reports
  • Ensure cleanliness of the work environment
  • Execute the harvesting of crops efficiently
  • Manage the loading, unloading, and transfer of crates and supplies
  • Inspect products for quality assurance and market readiness
