Job Summary

Myrna Berger is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Caregiver to join our team. As a Family Caregiver, you will provide essential support and care to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and social interaction, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our clients.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring our clients receive the sustenance they need to thrive.
  • Transportation: Assist clients with transportation, including driving and accompanying them on outings.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as managing schedules, making appointments, and handling correspondence.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, flexibility, organized, and reliability.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Work in the employer's/client's home, providing one-on-one support and care.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license required.
