Job Description:

As an Autonomy Technology Strategist, you'll play a key role in developing and communicating product strategies that improve construction and mining customers' ability to manage, plan, and optimize their site operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate product vision to a large and diverse organization, aligning and motivating teams toward a common objective.
  • Work with commercial teams, business partners, and customers to understand product needs and define appropriate technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with machine product partners, internal partners, and other parties to communicate technology needs and strategy, and gain alignment on product roadmaps.
  • Apply good business acumen to define multi-generational product plans that align with customer needs, focusing on market opportunities and addressing competitive threats within business constraints.
  • Lead project initiation by defining high-level program scope, schedule, cost, and requirements, and working with delivery teams to structure and establish project teams.
  • Requires knowledge of cloud computing, systems architecture, data science, and analytics, as well as onboard real-time and pseudo real-time embedded software architecture and telematics systems.
  • Requires knowledge of construction and mining industries and operations.
Requirements:
  • Requires a 4-year degree in an accredited Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science curriculum.
Skills:
  • Communicating complex concepts: dissecting complex product visions into logical roadmaps, communicating with stakeholders and engineering, and documenting functional requirements.
  • Managing multiple priorities: working independently to manage multiple concurrent product roadmaps and projects, shifting focus among several projects, and adapting quickly to new information.
  • Technical excellence: defining high-level system architectures, analyzing software architecture design decisions, and guiding engineering teams toward technical solutions.
  • Strategic thinking: translating commercial needs and product vision into roadmaps, recommending organizational changes, and building relationships with key stakeholders.
