Koch-Glitsch Canada Field Service is dedicated to delivering exceptional services to clients, encompassing blinding and deblending operations, internal vessel maintenance, and repairs, as well as revamps and replacements. Our services are available nationwide at numerous gas processing facilities and refineries, addressing both scheduled maintenance and urgent requirements as they arise. We are currently seeking Level I Tower Mechanics for forthcoming assignments.

RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE


• Operate in gas processing and refinery settings.


• Perform tasks at elevated heights.


• Engage in ground-level operations.


• Collaborate with cranes and rigging equipment.


• Manage parts and materials effectively.


• Serve as a Confined Space Safety Attendant.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE


• A strong commitment to safety and execution.


• At least 6 months of experience in construction or trade-related environments.


• Proficiency in completing safety documentation, particularly confined space records.


• Certification in OSSA Confined Space Entry & Monitoring.


• H2S Alive Certification.


• OSSA Fall Protection Certification.


• CSTS 20 Certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


• Previous experience as a Confined Space Safety Attendant.


• Experience working with vessels or vessel internals.


• Familiarity with gas processing facilities or refineries.


• Competence with basic hand tools and equipment such as forklifts, zoom booms, and air compressors.


• First Aid Certification (Level A or C).


• WHMIS Certification.


• Basic Safety Orientation (OSSA).


• Additional certifications will be considered advantageous; please list all relevant qualifications when applying.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS


• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.


• Ability to ascend stairs and ladders.


• Capacity to stand for extended periods.


• Training in Respiratory Protective Equipment is mandatory.


• Must be equipped to perform duties while wearing personal protective gear, including but not limited to rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air respirators, safety harnesses, flame-resistant coveralls, hard hats, ear protection, and safety glasses.


• Willingness to comply with all Company and Customer project entry prerequisites, including specific training and drug and alcohol testing.


• Flexibility to work shifts, travel within Canada, and be away for extended durations.
