Youth for Christ Timmins Region is in search of a Chief Executive Officer who embodies an experienced and transformative leadership style, coupled with a servant's heart and a deep commitment to youth ministry.
The Chief Executive Officer will provide comprehensive visionary and strategic guidance for the ongoing enhancement of both new and established ministry initiatives. This role encompasses the oversight of staff recruitment and development across leadership, administrative, and ministry functions. The CEO will act as a diligent steward of resources, ensuring the positive financial health of YFC Timmins Region through prudent budgeting and effective management of fundraising efforts. This position is accountable to the Board of Directors for the overall management and direction of YFC Timmins Region's activities, including the spiritual well-being of the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Staff Leadership and Development- Formulates a comprehensive organizational strategy for team building, coaching, and staff welfare.
- Provides overarching leadership to the staff team, being accountable for organizational performance.
- Facilitates ongoing professional development for staff members, ensuring their well-being.
- Leads regular staff meetings to foster communication and collaboration.
- Ensures annual performance reviews are conducted for all staff.
- Oversees the recruitment process for new leadership, administrative, and ministry roles.
- Establishes a senior leadership team to drive the organization's mission and priorities.
- Ensures effective monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on all organizational initiatives.
- Collaborates with the Board on planning, policies, programs, finances, and facilities.
- Acts as a liaison between the Board and YFC Canada, as well as other similar ministries.
- Serves as an ex-officio member of all Board-established committees.
- In partnership with the Board, develops and implements the strategic plan.
- Creates annual goals and objectives for YFC Timmins Region for Board review.
- Provides visionary leadership for programs, ensuring their relevance and effectiveness aligned with the organization's mission.
- Identifies and implements new programming to address the evolving needs of youth.
- Develops and maintains a positive public image for YFC Timmins Region.
- Communicates regularly with supporters, churches, and community leaders about the impact of YFC's ministry.
- Ensures timely development of relevant printed and digital materials.
- Engages in presentations to civic leaders, pastors, parents, and schools.
- Represents YFC at community events, supporting local initiatives when appropriate.
- Oversees fundraising activities, including the creation of a dynamic fundraising strategy.
- Engages in activities to enhance the organization's financial capacity, including donor meetings and public speaking.
- Invites and nurtures ministry partners as a prayerful and financial support team.
- Maintains and expands the current donor base.
- Utilizes a management system to track communication and support for the organization.
- Ensures staff are equipped for ministry partner development and fundraising.
- Secures a solid base of financial and prayer partners to support the position's costs.
- Supervises the operations of YFC Timmins Region's office.
- Implements operational systems, procedures, and controls for the organization.
- Develops and adheres to the Board-approved annual budget.
- Ensures compliance with YFC Canada's policies and guidelines.
- Familiarizes with and adheres to applicable government regulations.
- Maintains up-to-date policy and procedure manuals for staff and volunteers.
- Ensures adequate facilities and equipment are available for programs and staff.
- Operates within the guidelines set by the Canadian Revenue Agency for Non-Profit Charitable organizations.
- Participates in YFC Canada's Annual General Meeting as a voting member.
- Actively participates as a member of a local church.
- Engages in prayer with staff, the board, and YFC ministries.
- Commits to spiritual reflection and personal development.
- Completes the YFC Canada credentialing process within two years of employment.
- Participates in approved training and development opportunities.
- Implements annual off-site meetings for spiritual rejuvenation and team development.
- Engages in national and regional YFC initiatives and conferences.
