Job Title: Cashier

Vahagn's Your Independent Grocer is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for operating a cash register, processing transactions, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle customer payments, including cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash register area and surrounding areas.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
