We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager for our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse operational needs by scheduling and delegating tasks to staff, assessing work outcomes, adapting to workload fluctuations, and achieving operational objectives.
- Ensure adequate staffing by conducting interviews, selecting candidates, and training new employees to fulfill operational requirements.
- Guide and mentor warehouse personnel through performance evaluations and coaching, fostering continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures among all warehouse staff.
- Oversee logistics operations for product transportation, coordinating with drivers to ensure timely service to clients.
- Perform additional tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in a warehouse setting is necessary.
- At least two years of experience in warehouse management is required.
- Exceptional customer service skills, focused on surpassing the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly with customers and team members.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (email, Word, Excel) and the capacity to learn internal systems.
- Experience in inventory control and management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with parts cataloguing and barcode systems is a plus.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of heavy-duty parts is an asset.
