About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team at Avalon College Limited o/a Avalon Career College. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans to promote our business services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Promotional Materials

Design and create engaging promotional materials, such as brochures, reports, and newsletters, to showcase our business services and attract new clients.

Hire, Train, Direct and Motivate Staff

Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals and objectives.

Manage Contracts

Oversee the development and implementation of contracts with clients, ensuring that all agreements are fair, transparent, and meet our business needs.

Market Business Services

Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our business services, including advertising, public relations, and social media campaigns.

Plan and Control Budget and Expenditures

Manage the marketing budget, ensuring that all expenditures are aligned with our business objectives and goals.

Write and Edit Press Releases, Newsletter and Communications Materials

Develop and edit press releases, newsletters, and other communications materials to promote our business services and engage with our target audience.

Direct and Evaluate Establishments and Departments

Oversee the development and implementation of communication strategies and information programs, ensuring that they meet our business needs and objectives.

Direct and Evaluate Establishments and Departments

Manage media relations on behalf of our business, ensuring that all interactions are professional and effective.

Direct and Evaluate Establishments and Departments

Publicize activities and events on behalf of our business, ensuring that all promotional materials are engaging and effective.

Plan, Direct and Evaluate the Activities of Firms and Departments

Develop and execute advertising campaigns to promote our business services, ensuring that all campaigns are aligned with our business objectives and goals.

Act as Spokesperson for an Organization

Represent our business in a professional and effective manner, responding to inquiries and engaging with our target audience.

Advise Clients on Advertising or Sales Promotion Strategies

Provide guidance and support to clients on advertising and sales promotion strategies, ensuring that they meet their business needs and objectives.

Answer Written and Oral Inquiries

Respond to written and oral inquiries from clients, providing accurate and timely information to meet their needs.

Assist in the Preparation of Brochures, Reports, Newsletters and Other Material

Support the development and preparation of promotional materials, such as brochures, reports, and newsletters.

Co-ordinate Special Publicity Events and Promotions

Organize and coordinate special publicity events and promotions, ensuring that all activities are aligned with our business objectives and goals.

Conduct Public Opinion and Attitude Surveys

Develop and execute public opinion and attitude surveys to understand our target audience and inform our marketing strategies.

Initiate and Maintain Contact with the Media

Establish and maintain relationships with media representatives, ensuring that all interactions are professional and effective.

Prepare and/or Deliver Educational, Publicity and Information Programs, Materials and Sessions

Develop and deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions to engage with our target audience and promote our business services.

Prepare Sports, Literary, Performance or Other Contracts

Develop and prepare contracts for various business activities, ensuring that all agreements are fair, transparent, and meet our business needs.

Gather, Research and Prepare Communications Material

Collect and analyze data to inform our marketing strategies, ensuring that all communications materials are accurate and effective.

Supervise a Team

Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals and objectives.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in a marketing role, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.

Education

Post-secondary education in marketing or a related field, with a strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.

Language

Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Hours

35-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
