Indigenous Relations Manager

Ledcor is seeking a highly skilled Manager, Indigenous Relations to lead and oversee the daily operations of our Indigenous Affairs business development team. This role focuses on building and fostering relationships with Indigenous communities across Canada in alignment with our corporate priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic partnerships with key Indigenous communities to support our business initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and business units to integrate Indigenous engagement strategies into our broader business plans.
- Provide direction in delivering value-added services to support business development, including data-driven insights and analysis.
- Enhance the accessibility and availability of Indigenous engagement resources and support services across all Ledcor businesses.
- Develop and maintain processes to streamline service delivery and improve the impact of the Indigenous Affairs team.
- Stay informed about emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in Indigenous relations and sustainability; share insights with internal leaders.
- Represent Ledcor in external forums, industry associations, and community events, promoting our commitment to sustainability and Indigenous engagement.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, specializing in partnership building and Indigenous relations.
- Commercial and financial expertise is advantageous.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures and practices.
- Excellent communication and professional writing skills.
- High proficiency in computer skills, including data analysis tools.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time for business development and project engagements.
