About Our Teams

In our large store, we need all hands on deck to ensure efficient operations. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will help lead the team in the following areas:

  • Associate Leadership: You will help hire and train new associates on all things PetSmart, engaging and motivating them to grow their skills and knowledge.
  • Pet Parent Engagement: You will work with your teams to build strong relationships with pet parents and pets, ensuring their safety and well-being within the store.
  • Overall Retail Initiatives: In partnership with your Store Manager, you will execute on all strategic merchandising initiatives, drive sales, and set standards of success within our retail store.
About Your Career

PetSmart offers opportunities for growth and development, including:

  • Gain experience in different business units, from the store to the salon or the Pets Hotel.
  • Develop your leadership skills as a Store Manager then a District Manager.

The British Columbia pay range for this position is from $26.64 to $36.64 per hour. This position is paid on an hourly basis. Exact rate of pay will be based on position and experience level. In no instance will PetSmart pay less than the minimum wage for the location in which you have applied. This position is also eligible for benefits as described at https://www.petsmart.com.
