The Senior Product Management Specialist for Emerging Payment Solutions will be an integral part of the Product Management team, contributing to Payments Canada's mission to innovate and enhance the future of payment systems.

The selected candidate will oversee daily operations related to Emerging Payment Solutions, including tasks associated with the Real-time Rail (RTR) initiative.


Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Engagement:

Develop and nurture relationships with essential stakeholders, including teams in Industry Relations, Communications, Delivery, Operations, and Risk Management, to ensure successful project outcomes and proactive interaction.


Administrative Support:

Organize stakeholder meetings, create high-quality materials for executive presentations, and streamline processes to enhance team collaboration and results.


Data Evaluation and Research:

Perform data analysis, design user journey flows, assess product designs for user experience, and work closely with engineering teams to improve user interactions and address challenges.


Strategic Development and Business Growth:

Lead the formulation and submission of business proposals, manage the comprehensive process of addressing business challenges, and provide strategic insights on product innovation and development initiatives.

Applicants should possess a minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in product management, business analysis, or research, ideally within the financial services sector. Familiarity with payment systems is advantageous. Experience in a matrix organizational structure is also beneficial.
