The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Work Environment

As a massage therapist, you will be working in a spa setting, focusing on client comfort and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer various massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation and relaxation methods.
  • Apply targeted pressure to specific body points.
  • Evaluate clients through range of motion and muscle assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Communicate procedures, risks, and benefits effectively to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments provided.
  • Perform massage and knead muscles and soft tissues.
  • Offer home care recommendations and educate clients on techniques.
Certifications and Licenses

Must hold certification from a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.

Safety and Security

A basic security clearance is required.

Transportation Requirements

Own transportation is necessary for this position.
